We are hiring!! We believe that creating a diverse, inclusive, community-based presence on college campuses is a crucial component of student success. Having such a presence enables students to support each other as they serve, study, and navigate young adulthood while networking and meeting new people.
We are looking for upperclassmen to mentor some of our first and second year students. The job would be about 15-20 hours a week, starting at $18/hour. The goal of this mentorship program is to guide, empower, and create a brave space for students on campus. Our mentors empower their fellow students by allowing them the freedom to ask questions and explore opportunities. Mentors will guide them by offering peer support and knowledge to on-campus entities. The brave space is for students to develop self-help and self-care techniques.
If you are interested in this program, contact Post Secondary Success Lead, Tayviana Scott, with your resume.
She can be reached at [email protected] or 615-475-8303.
