PRIVATE SCHOLARSHIPS The Community Foundation of Middle tennessee - this application connects you with more than 100 different scholarship funds based on school, area, financial need, area of study, etc. Application is open january-march.
The scarlett family foundation - This application is for students who graduated from a Middle TN high school, demonstrate financial need, are pursuing a business or stem degree at a 4-year school, and have a gpa of 2.5 or above. Application is open September-December.
national scholarships - these are scholarships open to students all over the country, so may be more competitive. Be sure you fit the requirements before applying.

Tennessee Promise - This is a last dollar scholarship for students attending a TenNessee community college right after high school. it covers 2 years of tuition at a community college or technical college. To receive, students must complete fafsa, 8 hours of community service, attend 2 meetings while in high school, and maintain a 2.0 gpa while in college.
Tennessee Reconnect - This is a last dollar grant for adults to earn an associate degree or technical certificate. ELIGIBILITY requirements can be found here.
TSAA (Tennessee Student assistance award)- $2000 FIRST COME FIRST SERVED for students who complete FAFSA first. Students must have a 0 EFC (on FAFSA) to qualify.
